Agnès Aubert
Agnès Aubert is an Expressive Arts Therapist, artivist, and visual artist holding a Master’s degree in Peace Building and Conflict Transformation. She is the founder of Art For Peace, a Geneva-based platform she created in 2016 to foster inclusion, creativity, and social transformation through the arts.
For more than a decade, Agnès has worked at the crossroads of art, therapy, and community engagement, accompanying refugees, people with special needs, women, and vulnerable communities in Switzerland and abroad. Her work is grounded in expressive arts therapy and community-based artistic practices, where creativity becomes a pathway to restore connection, dignity, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
Alongside her therapeutic work, she facilitates spaces dedicated to women, life transitions, and personal growth. Drawing from art therapy, art rituals in nature, movement, and symbolic practices, she creates experiences that support both individual and collective transformation.
As an artivist, Agnès uses her artistic practice as a form of living advocacy. Deeply inspired by the wild, the wolf archetype, and Amazonian cosmologies, her work gives voice to biodiversity, Indigenous wisdom, and the urgent need to reconnect with the living world. Through murals, exhibitions, public interventions, and collaborative projects, she explores the relationship between inner transformation and ecological awareness.
She is also the author of The Forgiveness Door, a book exploring forgiveness through art and contemporary ritual, and a TEDx speaker on the transformative power of symbols in healing and peacebuilding.
Agnès collaborates with NGOs, public institutions, schools, healthcare organisations, and international partners, designing and facilitating therapeutic programs, community arts initiatives, and immersive artistic experiences. At the heart of her work lies a simple conviction: that creativity can help build bridges where separation exists, nurture resilience where suffering is present, and amplify unity in an increasingly fragmented world.
